How funny! I do like Kelly. And I don’t really care about his “turban” (although I think it’s just an orange slouchie beanie of sorts), it’s the mustache that gets me giggling. He’s like a throwback to the 70s. I’ll check out Kelly being her usual goober self. Thanks for the feedback!

It Looks like Kelly Ripa of Live With Regis and Kelly “Ripa’ed” off your comment about the second picture almost to the syllable! Except, of course, given that they can get in trouble for being “politically incorrect” (unless it’s about things conservatives hold near and dear” she tried to play it off as if she thought the man’s turban was hair! She couldn’t stop at just saying, “look at the ‘stache on that man!” Oh no! She had to go on and say that she thought he was hiding or in costume. So she’s trying to be funny and Regis gets the picture and says, “Un, no. I think it’s a turban.” Realizing her mistake, she tried to say, “I think it’s hair.” Well, it didn’t fly. When I searched for the pic, your site came up. She insisted she hadn’t read the article attached to the pic, so either great minds think alike, or she read something. And thanks for your reply! It’s definitely a “to each their own” thing. I realized that some of the players I coach wear them, and if they really like them and feel better playing with them, then there’s no way in hell I’m going to try to talk them out of it.

I’ve looked up to Puma for a long while. A number of months ago I think that as a company it has taken their eyes off the ball. For a short time the company’s design was not what it was and IME, the quality of Puma’s goods was going south. HOWEVER, now I feel they have become tops even though they are not the cheapest sports equipment maker.

Thanks Ashley! I ended up getting him the gloves and a box of balls (he ran out in his last round two weeks back). No word yet on if we get to play today, but I hope we can even though it is HOT here!

This is so cute, you are ridiculously cute about your dad’s golf gifts and seem to know him very well. Lovely… do let me know what you end up picking out for him- I thought the bit about the caddie/organizer was very funny.
