About Me
If you think a career where you get to talk about golf all day is enough to not need a blog, think again. Golf is one of those weird sports that can consume large parts of your waking thoughts. So I opened this blog to help satisfy my golf craving and get out all the thoughts about golf that might drive my non-golfing companions bonkers.
I’m a mostly self-taught golfer who picked up a club for the first time in 10th grade. That’s when the golf bug bit and I’ve been infected ever since. Recently, I completed four years of golf at the collegiate level and now am a NCAA DII college coach. Had you told me in 10th grade I’d be coaching one day, I’d call you crazy — but this is the best job in the world.
I have a great passion for the sport and honestly believe anyone can play. So I’m just here to spread around my love of golf in my small corner of the Internet, hoping it will satisfy my addiction to the game.
The Forward Tees Philosophy: It doesn’t matter where you play from — the tips, the front, somewhere in the middle — the course will pose enough difficulties for all to even it out eventually. In golf, as in life, pick the point of attack that allows you to make the most of your strengths.
